“Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them become what they are capable of being.”

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

About Molly

Over the past fifteen years I have worked with a diverse group of people in varied environments: students and their families in an elementary school; families in the post-placement phase of adoption; adult individuals in a psychiatric clinic; boys and girls (8-17) in a children's home; individuals (adolescents and adults), couples, and families in both a nonprofit for the underserved and in private practice. Being comfortable with people in their pain is, I believe, one of my unique therapeutic gifts.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca University in Nashville, TN; a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy; and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the Tennessee Board. I am trained in EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is an attachment-based model focusing on rebuilding and strengthening the connection between partners so that they can feel safe and trust each other more. It is also used to address individual issues such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD; and to repair family bonds.
